Iconic Offices came to S.E.A. with the intriguing theme ‘A Peculiar Affair’ for their event in Mount Juliet Estate Kilkenny. What a great opportunity for S.E.A. to get creative.

We began by designing a storyboard, beginning with drinks and dinner at the Hunter’s Yard, through to the journey to the Manor House for late night drinks and dancing.

After their day of onsite activities, guests arrived for the drinks reception to our Living Champagne table. They were then called to dinner in the beautifully decorated Stables Room by two LED winged dancers.

At the end of dinner service, it was time for the Parade to the Manor House. Two drummers performed in the Stables Room, before inviting guests to follow them along the outdoor route lit with 1,000 metres of fairy and festoon lighting, adding to the carnival atmosphere. Along the walkway they were met by more drummers and costumed stilt walkers.

At the Manor House, guests were greeted by fire performers and drummers performing together. Once indoors, the S.E.A. performers changed costumes and, throughout the night, the Manor House was filled with LED Hula Hoopers, LED Poi Artists, LED Winged Dancers (with 3 costume changes), Stilt Walkers (in 2 costume styles). We worked with multi-skilled performers, to keep the costs within the client’s budget, yet have as much activity and variety as possible.

The guests began their night driving up the long avenue, lit by fire on both sides. Fire performers and lanterns warmed up the guests as they walked towards the celebrations. A lively brass band welcomed them to their drinks reception.

The journey continued with a night circus spectacle, packed with vibrant and colourful entertainment. The guests were guided along the festoon lit pathway, accompanied by various aerial, circus and fire performers, and led through to the outdoor canopied dining area. After dinner, our ‘sly foxes’ made an appearance before the headline act for the night, award winning Irish singer songwriter, Gavin James.

Two of our best magicians joined the guests to perform some interactive close up magic over dessert. The final performance was from our party band, JG Collective, who tempted the crowd back onto the dancefloor to stay on their feet and dance into the late hours. When they needed a break, they could be found outside in the ‘karaoke caravan’ where the brilliant DJ Claire Beck gave guests the chance to give a performance of their own.
