LAURA BREHENY | Director of Business Development
Laura began her career in the events industry managing B2B Awards and Conferences in 2011. It was her prowess in that role that was spotted by the Directors at S.E.A. and it wasn’t long before they had wooed her and she was appointed General Manager in September 2015, working her way to Director of Operations from 2018 to 2020.
Laura returned to the S.E.A. family after a 4-year hiatus. During this time, she dipped her toes into the Royal Irish Academy of Music, she was on the event team for an Exhibition Organiser and spent some time running events for a not for profit.
Laura has a B.A. in Humanities and a post Graduate Diploma in Event Management & PR and Leadership & Management. Having worked as a teacher in her early career she is well equipped to deal with the demanding nature of the industry and the characters within it. With her cool, unflappable nature she is most definitely a force to be reckoned with.
